Chapter 816

---

Mrs. Salazar, are you okay? Joeys voice sounded so cute.

You look unwell. Are you feeling uncomfortable?

Tammy forced a smile again and stammered, Ium.didnt sleep well last night, so Im feeling a little dizzy. Do you want to go to the lab? How about this? Ill ask someone else to take you there on my behalf. Sorry that I wont be able to come with you, dear.

If youre not feeling well, you should call a doctor. I dont have to go to the lab right away. Ill just stay with you! Joey responded, pretending to care about her.

No, its okay. Tammy abhorred the idea.

Meanwhile, Joey just continued to stare at her.

At this point, Tammy realized that she was being too emotional. If she were to allow the boy to accompany her without being able to get any useful information out of him, it would only stress her out.

Right now, she was anxious to get Joey out of her sight.

Trying to adjust her tone, she said, But.its a pity if you cant go to the lab just because of me. Besides, Im just feeling Light- headed. Im sure Ill feel better after resting. Theres no need to call a doctor.

Tammy smiled back at him and then ordered her subordinate to take the boy to the laboratory.

Joey followed the man obediently. Once he was out the door, the smile on Tammys face disappeared, and her face displayed just how annoyed she truly was.

The AI lab was located on the thirteenth floor of the Salazar

Groups building. The assistant took him into the elevator and sent him to the designated floor. Afterwards, he found an excuse and left right away.

Upon opening the door, Joey saw the neatly arranged computers, on which a series of codes were flashing through every screen. He could tell at a glance that these were basic codes of the firewall. The reason they kept on updating them was to prevent DDoS attacks from hackers.

However, this wasnt the center of the lab.

Joey walked up to a computer, glancing at the quickly passing codes.

If a hacker attacks this system, he wont be able to hack into the system for longer than a minute. Who couldve written these codes?

Theyre filled with bugs!

Suddenly, he heard a voice from behind him.

Who are you? Who let you in?

Startled, Joey turned around and saw a man in a red and blue plaid shirt standing behind him, holding a thin and light laptop in his hand. His gaze slowly moved down, from the mans face to the work card hanging on his chest.

He could see the word trainee inscribed on his card, to indicate his position.

Gatlin, what is taking you so long to get that data? Hurry up! We wont spend the whole day on it. Joey could hear the harsh and impatient voice come from the opened door of the central control room.

Before Joey could clearly see the mans name on his card, the man stiffened automatically and stood up straight.
